Materials Expert

Establish Teknor Apex as a material substitution expert in the European Market. 

Highlight the different complex capabilities to replace expensive, hard-to-acquire, and or environmentally harmful raw materials.

Base the design on previous tradeshow experience design, confirm the brand, but bring a modern twist to World of Plastic Compounding.

Video, Booth Experience and Promotion

Needed to feature the video message as central touch point, have the consistant messaging across the booth.

Storyboarding

Working across teams, with product marketing and brand, business goals were established. 

The main goal was to visualize the target audience's application examples with the alternative compound solution.  Tell a story that encompasses the end user's every day life with better materials.

Video Versions

To target and attract different audiences, 

different versions of the video were repurposed to be published, sent and promoted on industry media publications.

World of Plastic Compounding

From Draft

to Actual Design

Brief: Create an experience that visualizes our depth of polymer compounding capabilities for the European market, and enhance the mother brand Teknor Apex into the domain.
 

Challenge: Teknor Apex is not a well-known brand in the European market, with sub-brands like Sarlink, and the 2018 acquisition of PTS led the brand recognition.
 

Creative process: Work cross-functionally and across regions, assign dedicated experience spaces to increase brand interaction and establish the distinct Teknor Apex brand as recognizable, utilizing the combination of light design, brand red, and the visual support of the pellets imagery. 
 

Metrics/results/impact:  Virtual engagement as well as in-person tradeshow attendance.
